| Description | The Training Brain Operations Center/ Joint Training Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (TBOC/JTCOIC) provides the central management for the Training Brain. The Training Brain facilitates and acts as the principal enabler for continuous learning across all TRADOC lines of effort through acquiring, analyzing, creating, organizing, applying and transferring data, information, and knowledge in the context of current and future operations. The Training Brain quickly and accurately represents the Operational Environment (OE) using a set of dynamic, integrated analytical processes, information technologies, knowledge networks, and tailored delivery applications. It connects with, develops, and maintains real-world databases necessary to replicate the complex, competitive nature of the OE. The Training Brain seeks out, explores, and integrates technologies and methods to assist in representing environments, events, and capabilities across all Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) domains. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: This individual will assist with the development and implementation of training programs to assist staffs from battalion through COCOM in effectively employing the latest concepts, methodologies and tools to neutralize adaptive networked threats. Proactively assists in identifying and addressing Attack the Network (AtN) capability gaps by integrating the latest concepts, technologies and techniques into AtN training. Focus is on analyzing network threats in the context of the mission, the complexities of the operational environment, and connections to friendly and neutral networks; modeling network activities; leveraging analytic enablers to enhance understanding of the networks; focusing ISR activities; and developing comprehensive plans and recommendations that integrate lethal and non-lethal actions to neutralize the threat network. Individual will be required to spend up to 30% of duty time on travel. • Assist with development of Joint and service AtN concepts, doctrine and training products. • Build data sets and conduct exercise support • Present AtN training to military staffs and individuals from battalion though COCOM. • Research OE in support of follow-on training engagements • Attend various training, meetings, and conferences and continually study the latest changes to the art of Joint AtN operations in order to maintain awareness of current theater issues and capabilities, including current best practices. Use knowledge gained to keep AtN training programs current and relevant. Experience • Former military with strong operations/intelligence/training background. Branch of service immaterial • 8 years of military operational experience minimum, 10 plus years preferred • OIF/OEF/OND experience preferred • Willingness and ability to travel extensively is required (30-50%) • Excellent written and verbal communications skill • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications • Valid passport is required | |
